Yoghurt Oat Bowl
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
- 2/3 cup non-fat plain yoghurt (if using greek yoghurt, add a little soy or almond milk to thin it enough to be stirred)
- 1/8 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup blueberries or other fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and stir.
- If you wish, you can stir the oats into the yoghurt the night before to soften. "Overnight oats."
Notes
If eating raw oats seems strange, imagine that it is muesli. This is essentially muesli.
It’s not super low in WW points but I’ve been eating this breakfast nearly every day since starting Weight Watchers and it’s worked! Lots of nutrition, I think.
